Go to www.ana.org/hof and click on “Inductees.” When I first found this site and began to read the profiles of my colleagues, I was riveted. My heart swelled with pride and admiration for the incredible accomplishments and bravery of those who came before me in nursing, many of whom faced incredible obstacles. Some of these names you will recognize but many you will not. They are all nursing heroes who have changed the profession, healthcare in general, and the world around us in profound ways. After reading even a few of these profiles, you’ll never say “I’m just a nurse” again.

Voting is underway in Modern Healthcare Magazine's 3rd year of ranking the "100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare." The number of nurses on the ballot has grown.
