"Dear Donna" of Nursing Spectrum
and the "guru" of career development for nurses,
Donna Cardillo, RN, MA, has been designated a "Diva
in Nursing" by The Institute for Nursing. Each year
the Institute honors nursing leadership across New Jersey
who have set their own high standards of excellence and
made a notable difference in the lives of so many.
Recipients will be honored at the 6th annual
Diva and Don Gala on December 1 at 6pm being held at the
Hyatt Regency in Princeton, NJ. Among the Institute's initiatives
to promote nursing is a unique tribute to New Jersey nurses
who make an extraordinary impact on the profession and the
community. The program is called Divas and Dons in Nursing.
The dinner is the Institute's primary annual fundraiser.
Proceeds fund scholarships for nursing students and nurses
advancing their education. The Institute also provides for
quality continuing education programs and grants for nurses
involved in research.
